RE Weekly Update 4/22/2014

Posted on

Hi, everyone:

Hope you had a blessed Easter! I look forward to seeing all of you tomorrow.

This week’s RE class is as usual, with 3rd graders joining me at 4:30 in Church for their Adoration time. Next week, the 30th, the 5th graders will have Adoration. Our last regular class is May 7.

We will close the year with a family Mass at 6:00 p.m. on Wed, May 14. This is for students in grades 1-12, and we will specially recognize the 8th graders as they move on to high school. I understand it is a different time than usual, so you may have commitments, but I hope many of you can make it. J

In the next week, I will get you copies of your progress reports to go home at the end of the year, as well as a form to see if you’re thinking of returning for next year. (I hope you are! J) I will also share next year’s calendar with you.

Thanks for all you do! See you tomorrow.

In Christ,

Sarah Weyker

Let the risen Jesus enter your life, welcome him as a friend, with trust: he is life! If up till now you have kept him at a distance, step forward. He will receive you with open arms. If you have been indifferent, take a risk: you won’t be disappointed. If following him seems difficult, don’t be afraid, trust him, be confident that he is close to you, he is with you and he will give you the peace you are looking for and the strength to live as he would have you do. ~Pope Francis, Easter homily 2014
