Ministry Vision: As writer Charles Peguy put it, “life holds only one tragedy, ultimately: not to have been a saint.” The goal of all Christian work must be to make saints–that is, to inspire people to reach their full potential as children of God. At the twilight of life I want each person I work with to have no regrets, but to be able to offer God a life full of beauty, truth, faithfulness and joy. We can and should inspire the world by our peace, joy and courage to stand with God.

Place you felt closest to God: Two places– first, The Colorado Leadership Retreat in 2004. That was where, as a high school student, I experienced the undeniable presence of Christ for the first time. Second, in adoration. I have heard God speak to my heart many times in front of the Blessed Sacrament and it is always a beautiful encounter.

Favorite Bible Verse: “Let the peace of Christ control your heart.” –Colossians 3:15

“If God is for us, who can be against us?” –Romans 8:31

Fun Facts/Hobbies: I love to go camping and hiking, fishing, running or biking. I have been skydiving. I could probably eat Chinese food every day. My husband and I live in Oostburg with our German Shepherd Dog and cat.
