Middle School Programs

TriParish Edge LogoIn 2013-2014, we introduced the Edge Middle School Ministry. Seeking to engage Middle Schoolers as a community, and ultimately, in relationship with Jesus Christ. Led by an energetic and faith-filled core team, the Edge consists of youth-ministry-style programming for grades 6-8.  After a gathering game/activity, middle schoolers take part in a large-group lesson, then break off into small groups for discussion and activity. Edge session topics are often following the catechetical theme for the semester, but may also be service-oriented, social, or focus on a current issue. Edge sessions take place at the same time as weekly elementary Religious Education classes – 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays in Fr. Cherne Hall at Ss. Cyril & Methodius.

Besides the weekly sessions, the Edge also provides an annual retreat. This year, our retreat was led by the Spiritus team from Menasha, WI. We had a great time getting to know this great group of young adults who travel around our state giving incredible retreats for young people

In addition, Middle School students have the opportunity to attend St. John Bosco Youth Day at Holy Hill (Hubertus, WI), and the Wisconsin Catholic Youth Rally at Mount Mary College in Milwaukee.

Youth Ministry in the Tri-Parish Community is growing! Please encourage the young people that you know, and keep us in your prayers!
